They are a little easier to crease than he would prefer, but he also expects them to never crease, ever....so that is a bit unreasonable. We paid a great price for them and are more than satisfied with the purchase.

I like wearing Nike because regardless of style a 10.5 always fits. These shoes felt comfortable right out of the box. Much better than canvas offerings. I normally prefer suede. However, these leather are great.
